Cripple Creek's beauty has been inspiring artists, writers and
photographers for over a century.
The light and ambience at nearly 10,000 feet above sea level
creates wonderful moods - in the fall filled with color aspens,
in the summer highlighted by dozens of varieties of wildflowers
and wildlife such as big horn sheep, elk and bear. The glimmer of new fallen snow
enveloping the pines, as well as 1890's mining buildings offer
opportunities to catch wonderful original Colorado subjects on
film and canvas.
Bring your camera or paint and canvas or just bring yourself to
create memories.
